Eat for Heat
Eat for Heat Project
The Eat for Heat project is a community wide endeavor to provide financial assistance to those with lapsed heating bills. Here at Ronon's Place, we are honored to walk through some of the most difficult spaces with people, and bringing back this Indian River tradition continues that same mission.
We know that to take care of the whole person, we cannot neglect their basic needs: food, water, shelter - and in Northern Michigan winters, WARMTH.
The Eat for Heat project is run by a board of community members. This board consists of those involved with Ronon's Place and those in other organizations.
There are several ways that you can partner with us for this event. There is an account at Citizen's National Bank that you can donate to, listed under Ronon's Place Eat for Heat. You can also join us at our 1st annual fundraiser meal on October IIth, information listed below. Finally, you can donate directly at the bottom of this page.

Join us for the first annual Ronon's Place Eat for Heat Fundraising Event. Along with other community members, we will be hosting a fundraising dinner.
The event will be a spaghetti dinner, along with a silent auction. The event will run from 4-8pm, but will be come and go.
Entrance into the event is by donation, with a recommendation for $10 per individual and $50 per family. Of course, whatever you are able to give is enough - and no one will be turned away.
All proceeds from this event will be used to keep those in our community warm during the winter.
